Pictures in the snow

We had a semi-small cement snow snowstorm last Friday. I was tired of snow; but it was so beautiful I was willing to make peace with it. So I went out and took pictures.

Black and White Wednesday

I've got windows to the left and right of my computer area and I often look out them when I'm waiting for inspiration to strike when I'm working on a story. I turned to the left this evening and saw the most amazing picture...the sun was shining through the little icicles that are hanging off the pine trees. I ran outside, captured the pictures, and then here they are in Black and White. I'm happy to say I finally get to participate in Black and White Wednesday over on The Long Road to China. :-)

Bramblewood Fashion Modest Fashion Week - Day 6

Sorry girls, even worse pictures today than yesterday because it's like the Wizard of Oz movie out there... (Auntie Em! Auntie Em!) ...I had such fun *sarcasm* taking these pictures. The wind's blowing every which way, (you practically get taken out by the flags mounted on our porch when you come up the walk. They're whipping around like crazy and they HURT when you get smacked by one!) hence the reason why my hair is also blowing every which way, along with my skirt. I discovered you can also see the wrinkles in said skirt a lot better outside than you can inside. haha :-) So apologies for that all around.
But anyway.
