Reading Rewards Program

A Life of Faith/Mission City Press was having a reading rewards program. If you read 5 A Life of Faith books, you would get a certain A Life of Faith activity book. If you read 10 books, you would get another book. If you read 15 books, you would get ANOTHER book (3 books in all) and a 50% off coupon for a A Life of Faith doll. Well, after reading hard and long, I read 15 books. The paperwork went off yesterday, so hopefully soon I will be getting my rewards! And Mom said she would pay for the other half of the doll. :-D Lucky me.

Maidens IV

If you scroll down, and you'll see I've now got a little Maidens IV Music Player Widget thingy. :-) I especially recommend you listen to the song "Blessed". It is simply gorgeous.

And here's something I did on Photobucket: (a photo-hosting site)

I just took a picture and then played around with some of the new features on Photobucket, and came up with that. If you can't figure out what it is, it is a digitally rendered "drawing" of Maidens IV.

Baby Bunny

Dad spotted this little fellow when he was moving flower pots back up onto the porch after he had finished painting. He was between two flower pots when he first saw him:

And even after all the pots were moved, he didn't leave for a while.

That was fun to see. :-)

Flower Wreath Shoppe

I've started a mini-business selling these flower wreaths for American Girl dolls.

Here's the link to the album where you can find pictures of the wreaths I'm selling.

Meet Joan!

I made this doll based on Grandma when she was a little girl.
She is a American Girl Today doll #5. I got her at the Madison Children's Museum Benefit Sale. We took her to a professional hair stylist and had her cut Joan's hair, and then I curled it.
Here are some pictures of her:

Here's her Amber book! I know this was Grandma's favorite book when she was a little girl.

This is her doll - I think Grandma had a little African American baby doll when she was younger:
