Buttons, Buttons Everywhere

Paper Studio's "Bag 'O' Buttons" is simply delicious. Everything from flower-shaped buttons to designer buttons is in this yummy bag. (Yep, we found Ralph Lauren Polo and Tommy Hilfiger buttons!)

Various American Girl pictures

I thought this was a cute idea...My hairbrush on the left and a doll hairbrush on the right.

Molly Brushing her Hair:

Mom and I participated in a Easter swap over on American Girl Fans Message Board and we recieved our easter basket on Thursday:
We got a stuffed pink Peep, two Easter Egg ornaments, a little box of Disney crayons, a little Peter Rabbit pen, a mini working radio and two pretend lollipops.

My noticing project

I enjoy reading The Noticing Project blog and today while taking pictures of my American Girl dolls I saw my own Noticing Project outside the window.

Just Posting

I haven't posted for a while so here are various pictures I have taken since I posted last. :-)
After the Ice Storm we had a little while ago:

Look at this poor tree: It's all weighted down by ice!

Changed my Profile Picture

I changed my profile picture. Just so you know. ;-) I just realized that my old picture still had me with my long hair. Can't have that you know.

Nature Walk

Today, in the middle of school, Mom and I and my doll, Nicki went on a nature walk through our woods. It was gorgeous! If you were quiet (which I wasn't...I was busy sliding down the incline...quite fun!) you could hear (and see!) the birds flitting about.

(That's me over on the right side... ^)
An interesting weed :-)

A red feather - looks like it possibly came from a cardinal - we saw quite a few of these feathers floating around so we think some poor cardinal got hurt (possibly killed).

Medieval Dress

Here is the lovely Medieval dress I made, copying Maidens IV dresses. I also made a cloak, which will have some trim added to it and a Maidens flower crown/wreath.

Cape, Dress and Crown

Just the Dress.

I left the lacing off the front because on my first attempt of the dress, trying to put the lacing totally ruined it. :-(
